Sports camps, do they really help in getting recruited?

Athletes are usually not discovered at sports camps because the level of play is so diverse. Sports camps can be an excellent way for an athlete to build skills. Most sports camps are businesses to accept as many students from all grade levels that will pay to attend the camp.

Camps are usually staffed with coaches of some level and even different colleges. But there can be hundreds at a camp and a coach helping out is usually assigned a station that fits their skill that you rotate trough.

Definitely attend the one you believe will help your skills, but don’t expect to be recruited there and make sure it is within your recruiting budget plans.  Remember you will need money to really be proactive in your recruiting.
