Ask for an application waiver when applying for an athletic scholarship.

This cost to apply for admissions varies from college to college. If you apply to many colleges the cost can add up.  So, in your student-athlete recruiting process, when you apply to a college always ask for an application waiver.

When you ask a coach for an application waiver it lets the coach know that you know how to play the game.  In turn, it lets you, the student-athlete know how interested the coach is in you.  A good indication the coach is interested is ff the coach is willing to help you with the admissions process.  This is something coaches might not do for all student-athletes.
