When will college basketball coaches contact me? How many have visited you at your high school?

How many college coaches have contacted you? How many basketball coaches have visited you at your high school?

Now if you are a Freshman or Sophomore in basketball then you are not concerned about it just yet. This doesn't mean you should sit back and wait. Get proactive with a plan.

If you’re a Senior or a Junior in basketball and your total is low then you need a plan. One athlete told us they had 45 to 50 basketball colleges contacting them.

Let me clarify the phrase "contacting them". I mean a basketball coach contacting you directly via a text, email, meeting, etc. We are talking serious conversations with college basketball coaches, you and the basketball coach, one-on-one.

Don't relate the phrase "contacting them" like other recruiting services that might have a list of basketball colleges that may appear on a web page with your name on it.

If you have close to half the number of basketball coaches as above, your odds would be great and you probably would be able to leverage colleges just like Mike Oher in the movie "Blindside".
