How do I get an athletic scholarship?
The very best way to get a scholarship is to be proactive. Start early in your high school career, maintain a high GPA, contact coaches (don’t wait for them to contact you). Expand your search to include many coaches not just a few don’t limit your opportunities. Send them emails that have video, stats and pictures included so the coach doesn’t have to do anything special (like click on a link to sign into some other website) to see your talent. Be persistent, stay in touch with the coaches that contact you. If you’re not getting much response, contact more coaches, the more coaches that are aware of your talent the better the chances of you being offered a scholarship.
